In Houston, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amโ8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (713) 218-0860. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I just called this business, inquiring about a small donation for our school garden. A rude employee name Jennifer was very ugly and unprofessional in her response. When I asked to speak to someone who could explain to me why this local company doesnโt support school, she told me there was no one I could speak to. A company this large doesnโt have any managers or upper management who can communicate with me ? I am very disappointed . Jennifer should not be answering phone because sheโs not kind . I hope someone from corporate sees this review, and reply . I would love to know why this company doesnโt support schools . Very disappointing.

We came here to get a Christmas tree, and the experience was disappointing. The 7โ8 ft tree was priced at $129, but then they added another $20 just for the base. At Central Market, the same size tree including the base is only $135. We left feeling scammed. Save yourself the frustration and donโt come here for your Christmas tree. ๐ฒ

This company is selling bug infested plants so once you get your plant at home it dies immediately. I brought it back and they told me that everything is final sales so I go back to look at their plants and theyโre full of bugs as well so they know that theyโre full of bugs. The gentleman tells me that I need to spray. Why are you selling me a sick plant? Thatโs bad business what is the point of having a business if youโre selling sick plants every word it needs to be shut down. If this is the model of the work, I want a plant replacement and I should not have to be. I want my gas to be replaced as well so Iโm hoping that someone gets in touch with me to rectify this issue immediately two healthy plant of my choice. Iโve taken pictures of all the infestation at this location today so I have proof of it. The guy tried to tell me oh it was wrapped Doodoo and he picks the bugs up and it starts crawling. I was so disgusted. I would like the name of someone thatโs able to do something and make this right 1960 location.

Beautiful plants, I sure didn't think of the construction or busy 610 right in in front of of of the store when shopping. They have grass every Thursday, i was there late Thursday, next time I will leave earlier. They had some, but will wait for next week. Staff is friendly, only 2 cashiers but checkout was fast. 6 Packs were $6.99 and 9 packs $9.99. I was happy with my purchase! Peace out!

Stopped by after going to Home Depot next door. Parking was easy and seemed safe. The outside flowers looked so inviting and colorful! I have been looking for a new hibiscus tree for my house. They had many options, braided trunks, non braided trunks, short hibiscusโ, tall, full, small. They also had Tri colored hibiscuses and single colored. Basically any hibiscus you can think of they have. I walked around looking for the perfect sized one for me. Found it, no bugs or issues with it. It looked healthy and big. The price was normal. I also got two bags of soil and a pot for all decent prices. Iโm happy with my purchase!
